The front of this note shows an image of Bolesław I Chrobry (967 – 17 June 1025), a Duke of Poland from 992–1025 and the first King of Poland from 18 April 1025 until his death. He also ruled as Boleslav IV, Duke of Bohemia from 1002 to 1003. Of additional interest to numismatists is the image of a hammered coin on the back of the note.
