In addition to his many medallic offerings, he also designed the “Semeuse” image – the woman sowing seeds – that used to appear on most French silver coins. The obverse depicts a seated female figure representing Moscow welcoming La France. The reverse shows two shields, the one on the left with the Russian coat-of-arms and the shield on the right with the French national emblem. The medal is 64 millimeters in diameter, weighs 104 grams and is in Extremely Fine condition.
