The Oregon Trail Memorial Association had this medallion struck in 1935 for sale, the procedes of which funded the Diamond Jubilee celebrations including a re-ride of the Pony Express trail by 300 Boy Scouts. The obverse reads OREGON TRAIL MEMORIAL ASS’N – PONY EXPRESS DIAMOND JUBILEE and the reverse reads CHANGING PONIES and RELAY STATION.
