This 2013 Fijian Proof Silver Coin contains authentic pieces of the meteorite which crashed to earth in Morasko (now a wooded reserve to the north of the city of Poznań in Poland) about 5,000 years ago.
This coin was struck from One Ounce of .999 Fine Silver, carries a genuine embedded Moldavite fragment and is one of a Limited Edition of 2,500 coins. It comes as shown in its original mint packaging with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Issued as a legal-tender $10 coin under authority of the Government of Fiji, only 999 of these coins were struck in 2013.
