This is a 2013 Cook Islands Proof Silver Coin with Embedded Coal This comes with its own Treasure Chest & Certificate of Authenticity. This legal tender proof silver coin has been issued under authority of the Government of the Cook Islands and contains a small piece of coal recovered from the wreck. Struck from 25 grams of .925 fine silver, total mintage on this coin was limited to 1,865 pieces. It comes as shown in a small treasure chest that measures 4 ¼ inches long, 3 ¼ inches wide and is 2 5/8 inches tall.
The coin was struck from one ounce of .999 fine silver to proof specifications and comes as shown in a Perth Mint issued presentation case with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Total mintage was limited to 7,500 coins.
