Knights Of Malta Life Of Pope John Paul II 9 Proof Crown Set With Folder

$149.99

John Paul II moved millions of people as an individual as well as a Pope. There is almost no other person who changed the world as he did. With great admiration, people called him the “Fast Father”, The Traveling Pope” or “God’s Marathon Man”. He was born in May, 1920 as Karol Wojtyla in the small town of Wadowice in the vicinity of Krakow. This Polish native became elected as Pope on October 16, 1978. After more than 450 years, he becomes the first non-Italian pope to be elected and six days later he takes command of the Catholic Church of the World. His life and work becomes a mission of service to mankind. Contrary to all his predecessors, John Paul II seeks to get close to his people. With his travels and visits to more than 130 countries all over the world, he signals the beginning of how to build his new contacts with humanity. Wherever he appears, children, women, men and young adults call out “J-P two, we love you!” The answer is always “The Pope John Paul loves you all!” On April 2nd, 2005 the charismatic pope died.

Isle of Man Archangel Michael Angel 1995 Bimetalic Gold & Platinum Case/COA

$699.99

Isle of Man – Archangel Michael – Angel – 1995 – Bimetalic Gold & Platinum – Case/COA – This beautiful coin was a one-year issue and depicts the image of the Archangel Michael slaying the devil in the form of a dragon. First used as a coin design over 500 years ago in 1465 during the reign of England’s King Edward IV, the Gold Angel soon became popular and served as a diversion from the War of the Roses that divided the nation. It was believed to bring good luck to the holder, and in an era dominated by wars and plagues, it was said to have miraculous healing powers. In addition to its stunning design, this was the first coin ever produced as a bimetallic gold and platinum coin. It was struck from one-eighth ounce of gold surrounded by a one-eighth ounce platinum outer ring. This beautiful coin comes in a Mint issued display case with a Certificate of Authenticity and along with the bimetallic gold and platinum Noble issued simultaneously (and found on our website) would truly be the centerpiece of a modern day collection of proof bimetallic coins.
