This 1885 U.S. Morgan Dollar is certified as authentic by Professional Coin Grading Services (PCGS) and graded Mint State 62 (MS 62). Named for it’s engraver George. T. Morgan, the Morgan Silver Dollar was issued from 1878 until 1904. It weighed 26.73 grams and was composed of .900 silver and .100 copper. Mintage briefly resumed in 1921 before it was replaced by the Peace Dollar.
