The front of this note shows an image of Selma Ottilia Lovisa Lagerlöf (20 November 1858 – 16 March 1940) a Swedish author and the first female writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, most widely known for her children’s book “The Wonderful Adventures of Nils.” The back illustrates one of her stories, with a boy riding a snow goose in flight.
