Description
The front of this note shows a Beli, a fresh-water fish also known as a Lever’s Gobi, while the back depicts the Grand Pacific Hotel and Joske’s Thumb, a precipitous volcanic plug that rises in the skyline to the west of Suva. This is the first series of Fijian banknotes to omit the image of Queen Elizabeth II.
