Pandora held a box, known today as Pandora’s Box, which contained all the world’s evils. She was told to never open it; however, she could not resist peeking into the container. Upon opening it, she allegedly unleashed all evil into the world. Afterwards, she tried to close the lid but it was too late. However, hope remained inside the box, providing humanity with a degree of solace.
