Darwin’s Frog (Rhinoderma darwinii) is a frog native to the forest streams of the South American continent. Although discovered by Charles Darwin in Chile during his voyage on the HMS Beagle, it was first described by French Zoologist André Marie Constant Duméril. An interesting fact that is unique to this species is that Darwin’s Frog tadpoles develop inside the vocal sac of the male.
