It is KM# 4, Silver, minted at Bruges (lion) and is in VF condition.
I do not know a heck of a lot about it yet, but will research it soon.
Please excuse the poor lighting.
If anyone has information on this coin, please feel free to share.

Roman Imperial AR Denarius of the empress Lucilla, circa 166-169 AD, ICG VF30.
I'm gonna crack it out of the slab to put it in my Roman set, though I'll keep the insert.

Thank you, I also thought the lion was a real eye catcher.
I have a weakness for Escalins.
I l-ove ancient coins, but it?s not an area I dabble in often.
I am just amazed that these ancient beauties can last nearly 2000 years and be in such good condition. It would be interesting to see how today?s coins will stack up 2000 years from now.
Jim.
