I may attend some upcoming coin shows, what equipment would you recommend that I take (i.e. magnifying glass)?

When attending a coin show, I would bring several pair of cotton g-l-oves (the site blocks that word-go figure.) and use them when looking at a dealer?s coins, changing them when need be.
Yes, I would bring some type of magnification glass and use it VERY carefully when examining the coins. DO NOT LET IT MAKE CONTACT WITH THE COIN!
Remember, some of the coins you will be seeing will be very valuable. DO NOT DROP THEM; treat them like live snakes- very carefully.
Also, keep your hands above the counter when handling a coin.
What should you do at a coin show? After following these suggestions, relax and e-njoy yourselves.
