How much can a dealer mark up coins sold for investment without getting in trouble with the government?

This is my opinion, but: I don't think the government cares how much you mark up a coin as long as you pay taxes on the sale.
If someone is willing to pay you a million dollars for a twenty five cent coin, shame on them. You just made a million dollars and the I.R.S. will want its share of it.
