US State Quarters

I saw a thread on here earlier discussing world coins and how the symbols on the coins would give them a good impression of the country they were from. Here in the US we have had these quarters coming out. I am not sure how often but it has been going on for a while now. They seem to release a new state every few months or so. We must be getting close to the end by now.

I am not sure if these will be worth anything but I imagine they would be if you had a mint copy of all 50 states. Has anyone seen these? What do you think about the value?

I have seen them and was not really impressed.
Of course, I am not a collector of these types of coins so my opinion is suspect right from the start.
My daughter on the other hand collects them and she seems to think there the greatest things since Twinkies and root beer.
Some of them looked nice while others really turned me off.
I believe that the value will go up slightly for the proof sets while the everyday business strikes will not achieve any substantial increase in value during my lifetime, they just make too many of them.
So, if you want your great-great-great grandkids to live a life of luxury at your expense, start putting away some mint sets today.
