Legend Numismatics is pleased to have purchased what we believe is by far the FINEST Pan Pac Octagonal that exists. While the other two NGC specimens are not shabby, this coin blows them away!
We see no reason why it won't cross if tried. To start, this coin is totally original and has plenty of fresh "skin" visible (that means its not messed with). The surfaces are perfect and radiate with tons of lustre. There are NO spots anywhere. All of the details are exquisitly struck and have delicate frost. The eye appeal is powerful and memorable.
It is so rare to find one of these NOT messed with or NOT beaten up on the cheek.
The last record of an MS67 trading was in 07/05 when one sold at auction for $289,000.00.
It was NOT this coin and that coin is not really close to this coins quality or killer eye appeal. Only 645 pieces were ever minted.
We witnessed an MS65 NGC coin WHOLESALE at the Baltimore Show for $130,000.00.
These are incredibly popular coins. If you seek one special example of an Octagonal, then we suggest you give this heartpounding beauty serious consideration.
