What's the most valuable U.S. coin?

That?s pretty tough to say. On one hand there is ?book value? and on the other hand you have ?Market Value.?
On book value, I know that the Federal Issues of the Confederation, The Continental Dollar- 1776 CURENCY, Silver, is valued at $99,000 American.
As far as market value goes, you cannot REALLY predict. Some people will pay astronomical prices at private / public auctions.
