This truly remarkable set of three Twenty Dollar legal tender proof coins was issued by authority of the government of the British Virgin Islands in 2006 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of Christopher Columbus. The three coins are minted from 4.14 grams of 18 carat gold, have a 22 millimeter diameter, with one being White gold, the second Yellow gold and the third Red gold. The set comes in a hand-made cherrywood box with a Certificate of Authenticity. Total mintage on this issue was limited to 1506 sets. This would make a truly remarkable addition to any collection of world coins.
