This wonderful Crown with the image of Lord Horatio Nelson's flagship "HMS Victory" has an actual piece of the copper from that most tragic and victorious vessel. The "HMS Victory" is the oldest surviving warship in the English Navy and the oldest commissioned warship in the world. It fought against the Continental and allied French navies during the American Revolution and, from her deck, Lord Nelson presided over the defeat of the French at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
