Collectors of world coins are familiar with the Marine Life Protection series of coins made famous by the island nation of Palau beginning with their first issue in 1992. What most collectors of world coins don't realize, is that many other nations were participants in the same issue, but because of very limited mintages, many of these coins dissapeared as soon as they were issued. This is one of those coins, issued by the Republic of Liberia, that would make a great gift for collectors of Marine Life Protection series or world coins.
