Collectors of world coins are familiar with the Marine Life Protection series of coins made famous by the island nation of Palau beginning with their first issue in 1992. What most collectors of world coins don't realize, is that many other nations were participants in the same issue, but because of very limited mintages, many of these coins disappeared as soon as they were issued.
