Beautiful two coin proof set issued to commemorate the Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City in 2002. Part of the Modern Commemorative Series of United States coins, the set consists of a Proof Silver Dollar and a Five Dollar gold coin. This Proof Silver Dollar was minted at the Philadelphia Mint from 26.73 grams of .900 silver and the gold Five Dollar coin was minted from 8.359 grams of .900 gold. The set comes in its original US Mint issued box with a Certificate of Authenticity.
