This three coin set was issued by the United States Mint in 1986 to raise funds and awareness for the restoration of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This Proof Clad Half Dollar was minted at the Philadelphia Mint as was the Proof Silver Dollar which was struck from 26.73 grams of .900 silver. The gold Five Dollar coin was minted from 8.359 grams of .900 gold. The set comes in its original US Mint issued box with a Certificate of Authenticity.
