Although we don't specialize in United States coinage, from time to time we do obtain some beautiful early American coins. This is one such example, an 1884 Indian Head Three Dollar Gold coin. This piece has been authenticated, encapsulated and graded Very Fine Details by Numismatic Conservation Services (NCS), the sister company of Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), one of the country's leading third-party grading services. Although this coin was previously used in a jewelry piece, the mounts were removed and it was cleaned, the extremely low mintage of 1,000 pieces makes it a very desirable collector item.
