In anticipation that the Swedes would vote to join the European Union and adopt the Euro as their currency, the International Numismatic Agency proposed a few designs for the new coinage. Those patterns pieces are included in this beautiful folder. Alas, the swedes rejected the proposal and so these pieces have become a footnote to what might have been. This unusual set would be a great addition to any collection of world coins.
