When Harry Potter turns eleven, he discovers he’s a wizard from Hagrid, a half-giant he has befriended. He attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he meets and becomes friends with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. It is at Hogwarts that Harry and his new friends learn about the existence of Voldemort and the Sorcerer’s Stone. This was the first set of Legal Tender Harry Potter coins issued in 2001 by authority of the government of the Isle of Man, and in my opinion, has the potential to become one of the most collectible sets ever issued in conjunction with a book or a movie.
