Scottish author Joanne Rowling has written a series of books that have had an enourmous impact on today's youth. Untold thousands of youngsters who had never had an interest in reading have become avid readers through the adventures of Harry Potter. Raised by an abusive aunt, Harry learns on his eleventh birthday that he is in fact a wizard, and that he will be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the seven volumes authored by J.K. Rawlings, we learn about his adventures, one book for each of the seven years of school. On a personal note, I truly believe that these sets of legal tender crowns in their original packaging are destined to become sought after collectors items in the future, similar to GI Joes or Barbie Dolls in original mint packaging. To that end, I have squirreled away a few sets for my grandchildren. As today's youth become tomorrow's entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc., many will be looking to acquire items that relate t their youth.
